iQ Valve’s new breed of patented, solenoid operated, proportional flow control valves are unparalleled in the valve industry. Our PFCV (Proportional Flow Control Valve) line outperforms the other types of proportional valves through unique design innovations.
iQ Valve’s proportional valves have no rubbing contact surfaces which gives them low hysteresis, high frequency response, quick time response (less than 35 msec.) and long life. Since no sliding friction is encountered, the electrical drive circuit can be as simple as a straight DC electrical signal; however, a pulse-width-modulated signal can also be used. These single-stages, 2-way poppet valves will perform well even at low pressure drops.
Our patented pressure balanced designs allow us to create flow control valves that can operate, even when pressure is fluctuating. The poppet construction eliminates leakage within the working pressure ranges. The working fluid is isolated from the coil and other parts of the solenoid by an isolation diaphragm; thus, the fluid path is limited exclusively to the poppet area and the inletand outlet paths. This feature makes these valves suitable for both gases and liquids.
