Application area:
·Testing the uniformity and complete covering of shot-peened parts acc. to AMS-2430
Application:
·Spray an even layer of MR® 511 Shot peening controller from a distance of approx.30 cm on the prepared part.
·Allow to dry. Check if the surface to be shot-peened is covered with the white layer,e.g. using UV-light.
·Now shot-peen the parts under the usual conditions for shot-peening.
·Check under UV-light if the film has been removed completely. Parts which havebeen omitted show a white-blue fluorescent colour.
·Use at room temperature and good ventilation.
Minimum shelf life:
·Will keep for a minimum of 4 years, stored at room temperature.
