CEAG Crouse-Hinds enhanced BS4343 (IEC309) plugs, sockets and couplers are designed specifically for hazardous area environments. The Enhanced ranges offer mechanical advantages over the popular and widely used Standard versions. The Enhanced version will ultimately replace the Standard range.

Suitable for Zone 1 and Zone 2 applications, and also Zone 21 and Zone 22 dust applications
CEAG Standard hazardous area plugs will mate with Enhanced sockets and couplers
CEAG Enhanced hazardous area plugs will NOT mate with standard sockets and couplers
From CEAG Crouse-Hinds, this three pole Enhanced Coupler is designed specifically for hazardous area environments, and has an ingress protection of IP66. This cable-mounted Enhanced Coupler also features a patented plug and turn system, for a fast and assured mating connection.
This CEAG connector is ATEX approved, and allows fast and convenient power connection in dusty and damp environments, or outdoor use. The coupler has a hinged cap to protect the connector when unmated.
The Enhanced Plug offers mechanical advantages over the Standard range, and cannot mate with Standard sockets.
