Introduction to SEW Motor K Series
Due to its long-term maintenance-free service life and wear-free transmission, SEW's spiral bevel gear unit is technically an economical right-angle gear unit. However, their high efficiency makes them a true energy saver.

The compact design of all SEW gearboxes is most evident in spiral bevel gear units. For example, this property is especially interesting for machine applications with limited space available. Here you need powerful drive technology and a compact design. For SEW's spiral bevel gear reducers, the torque range is from 80 to 50,000 Nm, which is a suitable environment.
These right-angle gearboxes are highly efficient in terms of direction of rotation and any input speed and are therefore very energy efficient. Their high-endurance transmissions are wear-free and continue to use the gearbox. For precision positioning tasks, you can use a K-Series reducer that reduces backlash.
In the SEW product portfolio: dimensions K..39 and K..49 complete the two-stage spiral bevel gear reducer series. They set the standard with the K..19 and K..29 dimensions: four sizes allow torque from 80 Nm to 500 Nm.
Combine the K-series gearbox and AC motor to the K..DR.. spiral bevel gear motor or combine the servo motor to your chosen K..CMP spiral bevel gear servo motor with the modular concept of SEW . Or simply choose a separate AC or servo motor that meets your requirements.
