The Quelarc® connector can carry currents of 30, 60 and 100A and 600VAC for use on portable and discrete electrical equipment. Quelarc plugs and sockets are designed to withstand the toughest working conditions and have been proven for years of reliable service. The Quelarc connector provides an unusually long insulated path that keeps it running continuously in wet or charged dust. The division between the male terminals increases the length of the insulating surface, preventing arcing between the electrodes and the electrodes and between the electrodes and the ground. The hybrid circuit blocks the arc chamber, ensuring that the arc is completely extinguished and cooled while the plug is still on the socket. Many important constructions use this series of plugs and sockets for safe operation.
